NORTH MS, Miss. (WCBI) — It’s time to clean out those medicine chests, bathroom cabinets and bedside tables to get rid of those old outdated drugs and pills. Law enforcement agencies throughout the region are hosting drug drop off programs this weekend. It’s a good chance to get rid of old or unused drugs that might be dangerous, get in the hands of children or be abused by someone.

The first drop off is 9 to 4-30 Friday at the Lee County Sheriff’s Department. Others are set Saturday from 10-2 at the Crosstown CVS Pharmacy in Tupelo, the CVS Pharmacy in Booneville, the Fulton Walmart, and the Union, Monroe and Calhoun County sheriff’s departments.
