A spokesman from the Mississippi Highway Patrol says investigators are still waiting on results from the crime lab in Jackson.

They’ve interviewed several people, but have not taken anyone into custody.

25-year-old Cason Parks was walking on the side of Highway 82 in Oktibbeha County early Sunday morning after his car broke down when he was struck by a vehicle and killed.

Invesigators believe it may have been a silver vehicle.
