Video: Bail Denied for Accused Cop Shooter

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – The man indicted for shooting two Lowndes County deputies is denied bail. Kent Coscia’s arraignment was this afternoon. A mental evaluation has been ordered for Coscia.
Investigators say he shot Lt.’s Clint Sims and Larry Swearingen through the door of his Drake Circle home on March 17th. Deputy Scott Glasgow was also injured. All three deputies have returned to work. Coscia’s next court appearance will be in November.
