COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – The future home of interested industries is starting to come into focus. The Columbus Business Center held its grand opening today to commemorate the progress of the large-scale multi-tenant center. After buying the property in July last year from Omnova, Millner and Associates President Stuart Millner said he had his work cut out for him. With some 500,000 square feet available, the property will be prime real estate for industries and warehouse distribution operations interested in opening a location in Columbus.

“We have about 5000,000 square feet of space which is available, and we’re renovating all of it. It’s going to be one of the premiere multi-tenant industrial centers in this part of Mississippi.”

So far, Omnova has already taken out a lease, as well as Machinery Mart and Rejoice Foods. Millner said the industrial center should be fully renovated and ready for business in about two year’s time.
