Video: Caledonia Schools Host Main Street Parade

CALEDONIA, Miss. (WCBI) — The celebrations for Caledonia Elementary School continued this afternoon on Main Street.

The school hosted an afternoon parade, celebrating having been recently named one of the nation’s Blue Ribbon schools.

After kicking off the parade at Caledonia Elementary School, the gathering of students, faculty and parents made their way down Main Street.

The parade made a pit stop in front of City Hall, where Caledonia Elementary School Principal Roger Hill was commended for achieving an exceptional level of academic performance at the school.

Aldermen formally announced a proclamation which from this day on deemed Friday, Nov. 21, 2014 Caledonia Elementary School Day.
