Video: Camp in Noxubee County Engages in Outdoor Activities

NOXUBEE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — Each year, a Christian camp in Noxubee County has been a summer haven for area children to faithfully explore the outdoors.

For one week, hundreds of campers are building relationships as they enjoy high-energy recreation in a fun-filled environment. Their day at Lake Forest Ranch is filled with volleyball, frisbee, archery, horseback riding and more.

The camp is helping change lives for the better.

“Thats ultimately the most important thing about this week, but also team building,” Team 3 Captain Sarah Hardin said. “You know how to be a team player.”

“I’ve been coming for two years, my second year now,” camper Kadaiesha Robinson said. “And it’s been fun, excited. That’s why I come here.”

Since 1950, Lake Forest Ranch has been providing a place for children to enjoy the great outdoors.
