Video: Cellular Provider Wants to see Change in Columbus Ordinance

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) -C-Spire wants changes to the City of Columbus’ guidelines for cell tower locations. The company has asked the Columbus Planning Commission for help making it happen.

Monday, the commission unanimously voted to amend the ordinance… where the cell tower should be separated from homes by a minimum of 150-percent of the height of the proposed tower.

The recommendation heads to the Columbus City Council next.
