Video: Clean-up Means Piles of Debris and Paperwork

LOUISVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — Cleaning up debris is a huge task. Monitoring it is probably an even bigger headache, especially for city and county leaders. In a press conference with MEMA and county officials on Thursday, Louisville mayor Will Hill stressed before they rebuild, it must be done properly. That means documenting and monitoring how reimbursements will be allocated.

“We’re going to make sure it’s done right, so that we can all of the debris removal monitored,” said Hill. “Now we are transitioning into so many other factors, out of housing and economics, and those kind of things. It’s just so much happening.”

Mayor Hill says they are looking at the financial capabilities and funding for debris clean-up and removal.
