Video: Columbus Fairgrounds Shooter Also Charged with Aggravated Assault

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — A Columbus teen already facing a murder charge is now facing an aggravated assault charge.

Bond for the new charge against 19-year-old Kale Scott was set at $250,000.

Scott made his first court appearance yesterday afternoon.

Investigators believe Scott pulled out a gun and started shooting after an argument at a graduation party last week at the Columbus Fairgrounds.

21-year-old Devin Lamar Montgomery was hit in the back and later died.

Another victim was hit in the leg.
