COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – It may be a day or two before you can get your run in at the Columbus Riverwalk.
Flooding has foreced city officials to close the popular downtown attraction that many use for walking and running.
Officials are asking people to stay off the riverwalk until further notice.
Rivers are on the rise all across the east Mississippi and west Alabama after heavy rainfall during the last week.
They’re forecast to fall back below flood stage by the weekend.
