FULTON, Miss. (WCBI) – Crossroads Ranch is the dream of several families who have children with disabilities. And to raise money for this dream, they’ve decided to create thousands of pottery angels the community could enjoy.

“I have a dream that he’ll, that we can build him a home and we’ll have this place for them to live that’s a safe environment,” said co-founder Renae Bennet.

Renae Bennett started the Itawamba Crossroads Ranch project two months ago. She has already created 3 hundred pottery angels with the help of family, friends, and dozens in the community.

“I have a son that has a traumatic brain injury and I’m worried as a parent what’s gonna have to him when I die,” adds Bennet.

“My mothers like my angel, she is.. It feels pretty good speaking about all that stuff I’ve been through,” said her son Marcus.

The ranch will provide residential living for children and adults with disabilities. Mother Tammy Tinar wants her son to be a part of something special.

“Just have some place where they can go. They can contribute to out surrounding areas and into our community and just be a part of something to be recognized as a citizen and not just a handicap person,” said mother Tammy Tiner.

“I just like making a lot of angels and I wanna be a part of this. I’m absolutely excited to be in that house,” added her son Josh.

Angels take 2 weeks to make and will be sold for 100 dollars each. It will take 10 thousand angels for Crossroads to be developed. Once opened will provide ten homes for those adults that need a place to call home.

To purchase one of these angel you can go to their Facebook page at Crossroads Ranch.
