STARKVILLE, Miss. – (WCBI) Rebecca Tabb opened her boutique on Main Street in Starkville five years ago. To her, the new season, means a new you. She’s spruced up her shop and unpacked this spring’s inventory. She says a number of trends from last year will be making a come back this season, while a few will be left in the past.

“Corals or anything salmon. Lots of knit and lots of crochet. I think if you get a different shape of the chevron, it is still fine, but just that traditional tone on tone chevron, I don’t think it is still in style.”

“Florals are really big this summer too. They just tend to not have as much of a shelf life as your good basic, solid colors.”

Rebecca also advises that you buy basic pieces for your wardrobe. She caters to all shapes and sizes, with clothing that accentuates a woman’s natural shape.

“My clientele are young professionals, and real women with real figures and we have to dress for work; and we have to look work appropriate, and we want to feel comfortable in what we are wearing. My store runs from small to extra large and then from extra large to xxxl, so it carries all ages and all sizes.”

She turns to local vendors for her jewelry and accessories. Rebecca says these pieces can add a unique spin to your outfit.

“This is a great line of jewelry. It is called Water’s Edge jewelry. It is all handmade, by one of my friends who went to Mississippi State and now she lives in Tuscaloosa, Emily Leiter. It is all fresh water pearls and leather, and the leather is really high quality. To me, it is a staple item.”
From shoes and purses– to everything for your ‘tween.. R. Tabb and Co. Is now equipped with everything you need to make a last impression.

“The way we present ourselves shows others how we feel about ourselves; and how we feel about our relationships. When you feel good about yourself,it is going to show in your personality, and what you take into the world and your everyday life and hopefully to your friends and your clients.”
For Rebecca Tabb, helping you dress for success is just one more day in the life.
