Video: East Webster High School Set Open Fall 2013

WEBSTER COUNTY, Miss.(WCBI)- April 27th will mark two years since East Webster High School was demolished by the EF-3 tornado that went through Webster County.

Many folks throughout the community are patiently waiting for the opening of the new high school and auditorium.The Webster County Supervisor of District four says as of the last meeting that he had with the Webster County Superintendent, Jack Treloar and other members of the school board are still optimistic about the finishing of the school in the near future.

“They are full force right now hoping the opening of the school in August of this year. Of course that still you have to take into consideration weather related work and things of that nature,” says  Supervisor Paul Crowley.

Since the tornado, students have been relocated to Wood Junior College.
