Emergency Personnel Rescue Man Trapped in Grain Bin

MARSHALL COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — A man was rescued from a grain bin this afternoon in Marshall County.

The incident happened between Oxford and Holly Springs.

Firefighters and deputies worked for hours, sawing holes into the side of the bin to reach the man.

Reports indicate at one point the grain was up to the unidentified man’s nose.

The man was alive and responsive when rescued; the cause of the incident remains unknown.
