Video: Employment Down in Ala., but Some 50,000 Jobs Patch State

ALABAMA (WCBI) — Employment may be down across Alabama, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t plenty of jobs.

The state employment agency says it has more than 53,000 job listings, with a big demand in five major areas.

Big truck operators are the most in demand with almost 4,200 listings. Another 600 light truck and delivery drivers are needed.

Retail supervisors, registered nurses, retail sales people and customer service experts are also in high demand.
