TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – More than 800 people turned out in Tupelo for the Annual Father-Daughter Dance benefiting Lebonheur Children’s Hospital.  This is the 11th year for the event and the theme was “Ties and Tiaras.” Dads and their daughters danced for several hours, enjoyed good food, and were also able to take part in several auctions.
This is the second year in a row the event has been sold out. It’s organized by volunteers calling themselves twigs, which stands for “together we initiate growth and strength”.
