COLUMBUS, Miss.(WCBI)–Faith, Fatherhood, and Forgiveness is their mission.

A regional missionary with the nation organization Fathers In The Field did lunch with Columbus Rotarians at Lion Hills Country Club today[Tuesday]. Civic minded leaders were reminded of the need to mentor children, especially boys abandoned by their fathers.

“Get involved in fatherless childrens’ lives, whether it be through Fatherless Child Ministries, or Fathers In The Field or whatever ministries that you feel led to. You know its not so important as what you get involved in, but that you do something. Everybody can stand in one child’s life,” said Kevin Drewry/Regional Missionary-Fathers In The Field.
