UNDATED, Miss. (WCBI)-OCH Regional Medical Center and Golden Triangle Baptist Memorial Hospital both had the joy of delivering their first babies of 2013.
Darian DeShon Holmes was born in the OCH labor and delievery unit Tuesday (1-1-13) night at 8:45 weighing in at 6 pounds 8 ounces and 18 and half inches long.
Doctors say he was born two weeks early, he apparently couldn’t wait to greet the new year as well.
Meanwhile, Quarious Deashe Johnson was welcomed into the world at 3:08 p.m. Tuesday, making him the first baby to born at Baptist Memorial Golden Triangle in Columbus.
The bouncing baby boy weighed in seven pounds, nine ounces and is 20 inches long.
He also came before his due date, which was scheduled for January 9TH.
New mother Lillian Martin of Columbus and baby are doing just fine.
