Video: Four Car Accident Sends Two To Hospital

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Two people were taken to the hospital following a lunch time accident on Highway 82.

The four car wreck happened around 12:15 p.m. on Highway 82 westbound between Military Road and Highway 50.

According to witnesses the chain reaction crash started when one of the cars invlved had trouble merging into traffic.

Two people were taken to the hospital by ambulance. Those injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Two others were checked out on the scene.

Columbus police are investigating the accident.
