STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) -Former federal prosecutor Mike Hurst stopped Wednesday evening in Starkville. The Republican is running against longtime Democratic Attorney General Jim Hood.

Hurst says Mississippi’s attorney general should be move involved in fighting public corruption. The Newton County native will travel to Oxford tomorrow and Southaven on Friday.
