Video: Harvard MBAs Offer Advice to Tupelo Entrepreneurs

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – A team of Harvard Business School graduates wrapped up a week long project designed to share the strengths and challenges facing area entrepreneurs. Since Monday, a four member team, has visited with small business owners who are tenants at Tupelo’s Renasant Center for Ideas, the small business incubator for Lee County. The team asked entrepreneurs about their marketing strategies, customer base and other issues. This morning, preliminary findings were discussed and the project will eventually be available for small business owners throughout the area and world to study.

“On the website, MBAs across America, website, there will eventually be case studies of the background of the entrepreneurs or small businesses we worked with , the challenges they faced and how our team helped make an impact , during the week that we were there.”

The team is part of a project called “MBAs Across America.” There are seven other teams from various Ivy League Schools taking part in the initiative to help small businesses nationwide.
