Video: Heritage Academy Hosts 5K

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — Local runners braved the cold Saturday morning as they ran in the Heritage 50th Anniversary 5K.

Runners of all ages completed a 3.1 mile course surrounding Heritage Academy.

The Patriot 5K was hosted by the class of 2015 along with their 50 Acts of Service Program.

The Program is to encourage Heritage Academy students to get 50 services credit hours over a five year period.

The proceeds from the race will go to the Patriot Park.
