Video: High School Students Recognized for Art Work

FULTON, Miss. (WCBI) — As part of a nationwide high school arts competition, local artistic talent was recognized this weekend on the campus of Itawamba Community College.

Congressman Alan Nunnelee, R-District 1, visited ICC to award five high school students for their exceptional art work.

The annual competition is open to any high schooler in the state of Mississippi.

Based on the judges selection, the winner will have his art work work displayed in the United States Capitol for a year, along with more than 400 other representatives throughout the country.

This year’s winner is Daniel “George” Patterson of Booneville High School.
