Video: Hundreds Run in Pilgrimage Half Marathon, 5K

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — More than 300 runners took advantage of the pleasant spring weather Saturday morning for the inaugural Columbus Pilgrimage Half Marathon and 5K.

Both runs are part of the Columbus Spring Pilgrimage, which wraps up this weekend.

Runners started the big races at the historic Tennessee Williams Welcome Center.

WCBI’s Jillian Garrigues, Paulo Salazar and LaMonica Peters participated in the 5K.

Meteorologist Heather Sophia did the half marathon, where she got second place in the women’s category.

If you participated in WCBI’s contest, and guessed their finish times, WCBI will announce the winners Monday morning.
