Video: Juvenile Detention Center Director Under the Gun for Alleged Dispute

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — The head of the Lowndes County Juvenile Detention Center could be in trouble.

Anthony Nelson could face disciplinary action for an alleged dispute with Lowndes County Sheriff Mike Arledge and others.

County supervisors asked Lowndes County Administrator Ralph Billingsley whether Billingsley or juvenile judge actually has authority over the detention center director.

It would be that official who would first have to recommend disciplinary action.
