Video: Local Farmer Makes Generous Donation to Palmer Home

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI)–Palmer Home for Children receives a big check today from some local farmers. Del and Floyd Lowry from America’s Farmers Grow Communities handed over a 25-hundred dollar check.

Grow Communities provides eligible farmers the chance to win a $2,500 donation for a local nonprofit organization of their choice. The Lowry’s selected Palmer Home for Children for the 4th year in a row to receive the donation.

A spokesperson for Palmer Home says, as a privately funded nonprofit organization they’re grateful for the financial support and the commitment to the mission of Palmer Home in providing a safe harbor for children in need.
