Video: Long-Lasting Miss. Death Penalty Case Heads to Supreme Court

WINONA, Miss. (WCBI) — One of the longest running death penalty cases in Mississippi history will be back before the state supreme court later this month.

Curtis Flowers has been convicted four times for the 1996 slayings of four workers at a Winona furniture store.

Attorneys for Flowers will be back before the supreme court July 21st seeking to have the latest convictions thrown out.

Two trials in Montgomery county ended with hung juries, Three ended in convictions but they were reversed . The fourth conviction came in 2010.
