Video: Lowndes County Sheriff’s Department Arrests 2 Atlanta Residents

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — Heroin and two Atlanta residents are at the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Department after a traffic stop.

19 year-old Jamie Wallace and 24 year-old Michael Pamfilis are charged with possession of a schedule one narcotic with intent to distribute.

Their first court appearance was this afternoon. Their bond was set at a hundred thousand dollars each.

The duo was pulled over at Hwy 182 and Tom Rose Road on Monday.

Investigators say the two were trafficking heroin into the Golden Triangle from Georgia.

The amount of drugs seized wasn’t released. Deputies also found more than $7,000 in cash.
