MISSISSIPPI STATE UNIVERSITY, Miss. (WCBI) -Students participating in Mississippi State’s Maroon Edition reading program have a little extra inspiration this year.

The University is presenting an exhibit of artwork, entitled “Identity” that expresses themes running through this year’s featured book, “The Invisible Girls, A Memoir.”

Maroon Edition is a program that encourages incoming Freshmen to read the same book before the Fall semester begins. The students discuss the book with each other as well as faculty and staff throughout the year.

The free exhibit runs from today through September 19th at the Colvard Student Union Art Gallery.
