Video: Mississippi State’s Veterans Memorial Rose Garden Takes on Special Significance This Time of Year

MISSISSIPPI STATE UNIVERSITY, Miss. (WCBI) – Mississippi State University invites the public to enjoy its year-round tribute to former service members.

Home to more than 200 plants and 60 rose varieties, the university’s “Veterans Memorial Rose Garden” is located on Highway 182 at the entrance of R. R. Foil Plant Science Research Center.

In addition to honoring veterans, the garden serves as a bridge between the community and university.

It’s open for community tours and is often used as a meeting site for gardener groups.
