UNDATED, Miss. (WCBI)-The vast majority of Mississippi voters will have no problem meeting the states new voter ID requirements. That’s the findings of a new survey released Wednesday (12-12) by Secretary of State Eric Clark. The poll conducted during November 6th’s general election finds that 98 percent of the states voters already have one of the 8 forms of identification acceptable under the states voter I.D. Law. On top of the poll numbers showing the new law will not be tough to comply with, Clark also announced his office is working with circuit clerks statewide to make sure people without proper identification can obtain one without costs.
