ABERDEEN, Miss. (WCBI) -A Monroe County official is stepping own from his current position.

County Administrator Mike King submitted his letter of resignation to the Monroe County Board of Supervisors at their meeting this morning.

King, who has served as County Administrator for about two years is stepping down to take a new job with the City of Amory.

His resignation is effective April 2nd. The Board did not name an interim administrator…
