Video: Morning Stabbing Sends Two To Hospital

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — Lowndes County deputies are investigating an early morning stabbing that sent two women to the hospital.

Deputies say they responded to a call shortly after 8:30 a.m., Saturday, at home on McGee Road, south of Artesia.

They say two women were arguing, then started cutting each other.

Both were treated at a Columbus hospital. Investigators say one victim required surgery, but has no life threatening injuries.

They tell WCBI they detained the other woman at the sheriff’s department for questioning.

No names are being released at this time.

Deputies are still investigating.
