Video: MSU Planning New Parking Lot Construction for Summer

[bitsontherun LVbrdsMA]STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI)-Major changes are on the way for the heart of the Mississippi State University Campus. Construction of a new classroom building, with two floors of parking underneath, is tentatively scheduled to begin over the Summer. The 180 new parking spaces will replace *all* visitor parking from the University Florist to the Union. Meanwhile, Lee Boulevard, Walker Road and part of George Perry Street will become a one way loop around Bell Island. The ultimate goal is to make MSU a more pedestrian centered campus. So, if you’re thinking about trading in your car for a mountain bike, now might be the time.
