TUPELO, MISS. (WCBI) –  All mustache lovers will want to be in Tupelo for a special fundraiser this weekend.

The 4th annual “Mustache Bash” will take place Saturday. The event began when several men grew mustaches, much to the disapproval of their wives.

What began as “mustache Monday” turned into an idea to hold a fundraiser for a local non profit.

This year’s Mustache Bash will be a benefit for the Autism Center of Tupelo.
“It feels great, it’s really important, with autism to get kids in there younger so they can be nurtured at a younger age and with this funding that will help them do that to provide scholarships for children to come in,” Hayden said.

The event begins tomorrow night at 7 30 p.m.  The Mustache Bash will have a carnival theme, and it is held at the JJ Rogers Building.   For more information go to www.stachebash.com
