Video: Noxubee County Man Gets 30 Years in 2012 Homicide

MACON, Miss. (WCBI) – A Noxubee County man will spend the next 28 years behind bars. Last month Timothy Jones pleaded guilty to second degree murder in the July 20 – 12 shooting death of Tony “Tom-Tom” Pippins at his wing shack in the Cedar Creek community of Noxubee County.

Today Circuit Court Judge Lee Howard sentenced Jones to 30 years in prison with credit for the two years he has been in jail since his arrest.Howard also ordered Jones to pay court costs.
