Video: Noxubee County School Renamed to Commemorate Former Teacher, Administrator

NOXUBEE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — A Noxubee County school will be renamed in honor of a former teacher and administrator.

Wilson Elementary will soon be known as Virgil Jones Elementary School.

Jones was a longtime teacher and principal at the school. He is retired now.

Fellow former Wilson principal John Gibson led the effort to rename the school.
