Video: Noxubee Man Sentenced to 12 Years for Manslaughter

NOXUBEE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — A Noxubee County man is sentenced to 12 years in prison for manslaughter.

26-year-old Mareno Hubbard pleaded guilty to the reduced charge today.

He was sentenced to 20 years with eight years suspended.

Hubbard was already served six years since his arrest inthe shooting death of Arveo Lane outside the Q5 club in 2008.

In March, Lamarcus Jones was found guilty of murder in the case and received a life sentence.
