STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) The arrival of a baby can be exciting and frightening. To help ease the worry of new mothers, OCH Regional Medical Center hosted their annual Maternity Fair this afternoon.
Specialists were available to consult families on infant CPR, healthy eating and breastfeeding. Expectant mothers also got a tour of the hospital and were able to ask questions to delivery doctors. Lauren Love came to the fair last year when she was pregnant and returned this year with her daughter.
“It’s a whirlwind of emotion, especially with your first child and coming to the maternity fair, being pregnant, helped to see other people in your same situation but also there’s so much information and free samples,” she said.
