Video: Officials Could Delay Opening of New Parking Garage

OXFORD, Miss. (WCBI) — The opening of Ole Miss’ first parking garage could delayed.

The Ole Miss Athletics Foundation stated it will temporarily suspend the selection of season parking while it looks at several variables, including construction timelines.

The 823-space parking garage was slated to open by Aug. 15, just in time for the beginning of the fall semester.

Ole Miss Director of Parking and Transportation Mike Harris said his department is planning for the fall semester under the assumption the new facility will be unavailable.
