Video: Okolona Police Arrest Armed Robbery Suspect

OKOLONA, Miss. (WCBI) — Quick action by Okolona Police results in the arrest of an armed robbery suspect being held at the Chickasaw County jail.

Early Friday morning police investigators arrested 32-year-old Quentin Horton in the vicinity of the Okolona Motel. Police say Horton was the one who robbed Dodge’s Convenience Store on Highway 45 South.

He apparently used a sharp edged weapon when committing the crime. Investigators say it was Horton, who jumped over the counter and grabbed $750 in cash from the cash register. Bond is set at $50,000.

Most of the cash was recovered.
