Video: Ole Miss Commits to Lowering Environmental Impact

UNIVERSITY OF MS, Miss. (WCBI) — Ole Miss Chancellor Dan Jones marked Earth Day by signing a pledge to make Ole Miss climate friendly. Ole Miss joins over 600 schools nationwide seeking to cut down on  greenhouse gas emissions. The goal is to reduce the level by 80% by the year 2050. The school says it will work towards that number by pledging to buy energy efficient appliances, make sure all new construction meets green building standards and providing access to public transportation.
