OXFORD, Miss. (WCBI)-A few four-legged furry friends were brought to the Ole Miss library this week. The library hosted Pet a Dog stress relief session for students to help students release some built up stress over final exams this week. Hot chocolate, tea, and playful fun with the dogs helped kids get some much needed down time. “We have had about 40 students come in last night to pet three different dogs and today we have two different dogs and the reaction has been very positive. They do seem to be less stressed to me when they pet a dog, ” said Melissa Dennis. Dozens of students took part in the stress relief break and the library hopes to host the event again during mid-term exams in the spring.
