Video: Pontotoc Alderman Move Forward With Liquor Ordinance

PONTOTOC, Miss. (WCBI)-The Pontotoc Board of Alderman moves forward Tuesday night in setting restrictions for the new alcohol, beer and light wine ordinance.

The Board approved and unanimously updated 15 rules for the alcohol ordinance including no liquor advertisements from the road and no open containers while walking down city streets.

Along with the beer and light wine, they can be sold from 10am-10pm in restaurants and businesses. However, it will only be sold on Sundays in Restaurants from 1pm-10pm.

The board decided to wait on restrictions for festivals until a later date.
