STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) -10 inches or more of rain have fallen on parts of North Mississippi in the last three weeks has raised creek and river levels. But area builders and contractors say the wet weather hasn’t caused a major problem with construction projects. Builders say wet weather has the most impact on site work. They say builders usually try to time site work to avoid this time of year so projects won’t be delayed by wet or cold weather. They say that’s the case this year so work is continuing mostly on schedule for the Cotton Mill project at MSU and several apartment projects in Starkville as well as other major projects across the region.
