REFORM, AL. – (WCBI) The sale of alcohol will soon be allowed in the Reform, Alabama.

City Councilmen voted in favor of the new ordinance that would allow the sale of alcohol within city limits this evening.

Now that regulations surrounding alcohol sales have been approved, an ad will run in the local paper for the next two weeks to inform residents that changes to the alcohol policy.

While only four businesses have applied for liquor licenses, more are expected to follow suit following Tuesday night’s meeting.

Sales could begin this summer.

Reform joins Carrollton and Aliceville as the only Pickens County towns to legalize the sale of alcohol.
