REFORM, Ala. (WCBI) — The town of Reform, Alabama is one step closer to being able to sell alcohol. The town council is expected to accept the new ordinance Tuesday night.

Voters approved the measure during a special referendum earlier this year. If approved, it will take two weeks before the new alcohol sales will take affect.

Mayor Benny Harton says thus far, four businesses have applied to sell alcohol.
