COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Bikers took to the streets of Columbus Saturday afternoon for a good cause. The annual Relay for Life ride for caner patients took off from the Lowndes County Fairgrounds. Dozens of bikers showed up wearing their gear, ready to hit the road on a two-hour ride. The American Legion Riders were just one of the many groups that came out for the event.

“A lot of great people involved, different groups of people of course we’re with the American Legion riders post 38 out of West Point Mississippi. We brought our group around 9 o’clock to participate and this is our 3rd year straight participating,” said American Legion Director, Bobby Walker.

The Bikers were escorted by the Columbus Sheriffs Department. All the money raised at the event will go to the Relay for Life Cancer Organization.
