Video: Residents Taste Test Food for a Good Cause

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) — Local chefs had the chance for the public to taste their homemade appetizers, entrees and desserts, all while benefitting a worthy cause.

Ladies had the opportunity to get together and enjoy some good home cooked food as part of the annual cooking competition, “The Taste.”

The funds from ticket sales benefit another event called “It’s All About the Dress,” which supplies prom dresses to local high school girls.

The evening featured live music, door prizes, a fashion show. 

Based on the judges scores, the winner takes home the coveted silver spoon award.
