COLUMBUS, MISS. (WCBI) – Social media is the new normal – often expanding our circle of friends and associates from just a few to potentially thousands. Millions of people have Facebook and Twitter accounts, including children. The Founders of the social medial marketing group “Solokal” are working to increase awareness of social media and how it effects children. They spoke to the Columbus Rotary Club today. Their main message to parents: monitor what your children are posting. Solokal also talked about how social media can effect small businesses.
